The Agence Djiboutienne des Normes et de la Qualité (ADN) is the national standards body created and put into operation in 2022 by Decree No. 2022-092/PR/MCT on the organisation and operation of the agency. It is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring standards at national level in Djibouti.

Its main mandate is to guarantee the conformity of products, services and processes with national and international standards in order to protect consumers, ensure the quality of products on the market and facilitate international trade.  The ADN also plays a crucial role in promoting the competitiveness of Djiboutian businesses by encouraging innovation and building capacity in legal metrology, inspection and certification.
